Race
Description:
Race will begin with a Lemans start, approximately 1/4 mile
jog/run to your bike. The race will include the Green loop,
Yellow loop, Blue loop, and Red loop. The race starts at 9:00
a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m.. All laps must be completed
by 4:00 p.m. The most 6 mile laps in 6 hours wins!
Driving
Directions:
I-35 to Norman, Exit on Highway 9 East. Go east on Highway
9 approximately 13 miles. Clear Bay Area will be on the left
side of the highway. Look for signs along Highway 9.
Sick
6 Race Rules:
Helmets are required for all racers and non-racers riding
a bicycle.
Pets must be kept on leash at all times.
No beer or alcoholic beverages allowed.
Trails are multi-use, so be aware of hikers and deer.
Last lap must be completed by 4:00 p.m.
Racing for a Good Cause
As always a portion of the proceeds will go towards a good cause. This year's proceeds will be donated to Mason Whitcomb, a local Oklahoma boy. Mason is a nine months old and was just diagnosed with Leukemia. He will be going through chemotherapy for the next four years of his life and he is only given a 50% chance of survival. Our donation will be used to help Mason and his family through this difficult time. For more info on Mason, go to

Camping:
Lake Thunderbird Clear Bay Area, full hook-ups and showers. For full hook-ups call Lake Thunderbird State Park Manager, Suzan Hendon, at 360-3562. Full hook ups are $16. You will be allowed to camp out at the race area this year. You must call Suzan Hendon to make your reservation. Let her know that you will be racing in the Sick 6. If you don't have a reservation, the Lake Ranger will ask you to leave. Primitive camping is $9. Use of electrical outlets is $5 more.
